The North West Paediatric Allergy Network is one of only eight development sites in the Royal College of Physicians’ Future Hospital Programme Future Hospital Programme.

The North West Paediatric Allergy Network aims to develop an empowered public and healthcare economy which has the resources and knowledge to ensure that infants presenting with a potential milk allergy and children and young people diagnosed with nut allergy are acknowledged and managed effectively by the most appropriate person in a timely fashion. A pilot is currently underway in the Oldham area with the help of Dr Harpal Hunjan, a local GP and CCG Clinical Director for Children and Young People.
