Allergists from Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, North West of England contributed to a large international multicentre study of 362 children aged 1 – 3 years where a skin patch was used to successfully induce tolerance to peanut in 67% of patients, compared with 34% of placebo controls. Results were recently published in the New Engl J Med DOI: 10.1056/NEJMoa2212895.
