UK Government reminds health care workers and patients of the risk of severe asthma and deaths from overuse of salbutamol or terbutaline inhalers. The UK asthma guidelines were updated in November 2024 following a review of the evidence from multiple sources including national reviews of asthma deaths in both adults and children.
