Our Paediatric Allergy Network of health care professionals spans the whole of the North West of England and North Wales. The North West population accounts for just over 13% of England’s total population. 38% reside in Greater Manchester, 21% in Lancashire, 20% in Merseyside, 15% in Cheshire and 7% in Cumbria. The North West is the third most populated region in the UK after the South East and Greater London. It is a very diverse region, with Manchester and Liverpool amongst the most diverse cities in Europe.
