The North West Paediatric Allergy Network was one of only eight development sites in the Royal College of Physicians’ Future Hospital Programme Future Hospital Programme.
The North West Paediatric Allergy Network continues with its aim to develop and empowered public and healthcare economy which has the resources and knowledge to ensure that infants presenting with a potential milk allergy and children and young people diagnosed with nut allergy are acknowledged and managed effectively by the most appropriate person in a timely fashion. Schemes in Oldham and Bury reduced the need for specialist milk formula and cut costs by one half.
